Avram Ortacu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebiu Cuculeanu in the 14th minute of the match. 武升辉 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Bălanescu in the 16th minute of play. Ferdinand Milcoveanu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Tayfun Öktuna was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. FC OTELUL GALATI's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 武升辉 came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Fichitesti AFC's Francisc Bușcu. But to his dismay, Francisc Bușcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tayfun Öktuna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Ortacu having to interfere. In the 30th minute Francisc Bușcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 武升辉 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fichitesti AFC's Avram Ortacu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Fichitesti AFC from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the game, Tayfun Öktuna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Avram Ortacu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Fichitesti AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Nicodim Cornea hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 50th match minute, Fichitesti AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Gligan to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebiu Cuculeanu in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avram Ortacu saved Fichitesti AFC from getting behind. 武升辉 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Bălanescu in the 53rd minute. 武升辉 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisc Bușcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Francisc Bușcu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 武升辉. The goal made the score 2-3. If Emanuel Bălanescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Tayfun Öktuna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Avram Ortacu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Gligan during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebiu Cuculeanu in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avram Ortacu saved Fichitesti AFC from getting behind. 武升辉 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Bălanescu in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Nayden Kuzmov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Tayfun Öktuna made a precise shot to the right of Avram Ortacu. Fichitesti AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. When Tayfun Öktuna came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the FC OTELUL GALATI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tayfun Öktuna couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute Eusebiu Cuculeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Ortacu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Stegaru kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fichitesti AFC's Dan Stegaru got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that FC OTELUL GALATI were the better team. FC OTELUL GALATI's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
