A wasted opportunity for EuSTAkE. 17 minutes into the match, Victor Baldovinescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorel Pârcălab. Vasoaia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Baldovinescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 21st minute, Victor Baldovinescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EuSTAkE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Dorel Pârcălab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Suşu in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Vasoaia's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Suşu came free, but Dorel Pârcălab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Victor Baldovinescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Victor Baldovinescu sped through Vasoaia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dorel Pârcălab. In the 34th minute Victor Baldovinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Pârcălab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After 50 played minutes Vasoaia got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Ciuvică. Victor Baldovinescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dorel Pârcălab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiberiu Suşu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorel Pârcălab having to interfere. If Victor Baldovinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Tiberiu Suşu managed to get in a good position for a shot. EuSTAkE's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiberiu Suşu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorel Pârcălab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When EuSTAkE's Victor Baldovinescu, in the 71st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for EuSTAkE. The supporters of Vasoaia booed when EuSTAkE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Cimpoieru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Baldovinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorel Pârcălab having to interfere. Victor Baldovinescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorel Pârcălab read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Maxim Băsescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eric Enciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Victor Baldovinescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Dorel Pârcălab was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over EuSTAkE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vasoaia throughout the match.
