Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ejder Kutal in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Sărăroiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrian Mantoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dan Sărăroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adrian Mantoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandru Nicolescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 22 minutes, Alexandru Nicolescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bratei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandru Nicolescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ezureni's Adrian Mantoiu in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bratei's goalie prevented a goal. Ezureni's Adrian Mantoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Adrian Mantoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alexandru Nicolescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezureni made a substitution. Cayetano Txilar replaced Ejder Kutal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Mantoiu to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrian Mantoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezureni's Rareș Fărcașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Turcu in the 58th minute of play. Felix Pașcalău hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Adrian Mantoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ezureni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Mantoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute of the match Viorel Murărașu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dan Sărăroiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Cayetano Txilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Bratei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Pașcalău to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the game, Adrian Mantoiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dan Sărăroiu. Adrian Mantoiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. With a little luck, Bratei's Dan Sărăroiu got control of the ball when Adrian Mantoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Alexandru Nicolescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bratei's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandru Nicolescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rareș Fărcașu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cayetano Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Sărăroiu having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Nistor Ungureanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bratei's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ezureni the free kick. After 94 played minutes Bratei got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Ungureanu. After having played for 97 minutes, Cayetano Txilar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ezureni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Txilar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ezureni left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bratei.
