Spectators: 7373 (Terracing: 5531, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Merișor in the 6th minute of play forced Wydad Casablanca's goalkeeper Cezar Vrânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Adrian Brad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wydad Casablanca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Brad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgil Gaciu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, one of Cocalar Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Cocalar Team's zone, Nicodim Elefteriu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Frâncu came out of the goal and Nicodim Elefteriu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cezar Vrânceanu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Cocalar Team's Eduard Merișor. But to his dismay, Eduard Merișor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nicodim Elefteriu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Marcel Frâncu made a huge save. Marcel Frâncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Odobescu in the 21st minute of play. If Eduard Merișor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Cristoloveanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cezar Vrânceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cezar Vrânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Merișor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduard Merișor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34thth minute of the game Leonard Cristoloveanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wydad Casablanca's Cezar Vrânceanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcel Frâncu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Odobescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 41st minute Pompiliu Duțulescu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Leonard Cristoloveanu charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Cristoloveanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Nicodim Elefteriu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Wydad Casablanca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cocalar Team were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicodim Elefteriu was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Leonard Cristoloveanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cezar Vrânceanu. The goal made the score 0-2. Marcel Frâncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Brad in the 61st minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Cocalar Team's goal looked a bit too open when Nicodim Elefteriu came free, but Marcel Frâncu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Brad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Frâncu having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Cocalar Team's Peyo Atzkov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cezar Vrânceanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cocalar Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
