The supporters of Degerati booed when FC Mangalia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Stroiescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 played minutes Degerati got a freekick which was hit by Florin Grama. Matei Birișu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Calistrat Povară tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Lăzan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sayid Waddah, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Filip Bejgăneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sayid Waddah in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Lăzan saved FC Mangalia from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Grama in the 20th minute of play forced FC Mangalia's goalkeeper Daniel Lăzan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sayid Waddah in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Lăzan saved FC Mangalia from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Sayid Waddah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Lăzan was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Daniel Lăzan came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Degerati's Sayid Waddah. But to his dismay, Sayid Waddah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Daniel Lăzan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Grama, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Degerati's Sayid Waddah in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Mangalia's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute, Sayid Waddah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Lăzan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Daniel Lăzan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sayid Waddah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Irinel Marincean hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matei Birișu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Sayid Waddah put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Lăzan. 62 minutes into the match, FC Mangalia's goalkeeper Daniel Lăzan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sayid Waddah. 64 minutes into the game, Sayid Waddah lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Daniel Lăzan. FC Mangalia's Daniel Lăzan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sayid Waddah in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sayid Waddah got free with Daniel Lăzan in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Daniel Lăzan managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Degerati's Sayid Waddah fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Lăzan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sayid Waddah went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. FC Mangalia's Victor Niculescu got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Mangalia's Daniel Lăzan got control of the ball when Sayid Waddah tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Sayid Waddah notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of FC Mangalia's Daniel Lăzan. Daniel Lăzan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Degerati's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
