The goalkeeper, Mircea Hojbota, was totally fooled by Hlipiceni's Horea Gurgui, who 3 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Iacob Țepeneag who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Mircea Hojbota when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Avram Ciorogaru hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hlipiceni's Iacob Țepeneag slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mircea Hojbota. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. Horea Gurgui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mircea Hojbota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Horea Gurgui recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mircea Hojbota. Horea Gurgui showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Păstrăv in the 20th minute of play forced Hlipiceni's goalkeeper Dan Dersidan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iacob Țepeneag received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. A hard shot 50 in the game by Iacob Țepeneag from a close distance when the talented Mircea Hojbota managed to make a qualified save. Teliu AC's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iacob Țepeneag made a kick off. Hlipiceni's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
