Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iacob Țepeneag started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Hlipiceni's Iacob Țepeneag nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Zdrelea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Adam Păuceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iacob Țepeneag in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Zdrelea saved Cotofenescii FCM from getting behind. In the 10th minute Albert Cozac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Zdrelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Hlipiceni's Iacob Țepeneag made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Zdrelea was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iacob Țepeneag in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Zdrelea saved Cotofenescii FCM from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Horea Gurgui notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Cotofenescii FCM's Marcel Zdrelea. Marcel Zdrelea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, Cotofenescii FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Țepeneag came free, but Marcel Zdrelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hlipiceni's Dan Dersidan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Păuceanu in the 27th minute of play. Marcel Zdrelea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Țepeneag in the 29th minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Cotofenescii FCM got a freekick which was hit by Irinel Trică. Hlipiceni's Urbano Montrelle got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Cotofenescii FCM getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Irinel Trică hit a great ball. Horea Gurgui took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Zdrelea. Marcel Zdrelea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 45 minutes into the game, Iacob Țepeneag cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Marcel Zdrelea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Păuceanu to make the kick off. Horea Gurgui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Marcel Zdrelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cotofenescii FCM's Bogdan Ciucă got a free kick in the 56th minute. It was beautiful to see Hlipiceni's Iosif Bălășoiu in action when he in the 58th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Iacob Țepeneag recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Horea Gurgui fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Iacob Țepeneag's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Zdrelea was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Marcel Zdrelea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urbano Montrelle in the 72nd minute. Marcel Zdrelea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Horea Gurgui showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 74 minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Cotofenescii FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Păuceanu to maneuver through the defense. Urbano Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Zdrelea having to interfere. When Horea Gurgui came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Hlipiceni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horea Gurgui couldn't finish the play. Urbano Montrelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Marcel Zdrelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horea Gurgui struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Marcel Zdrelea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hlipiceni. Marcel Zdrelea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Gurgui in the 91st minute of play. Iacob Țepeneag received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcel Zdrelea came out and tried to block the shot, but Iacob Țepeneag slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 92nd minute. Dan Dersidan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Păuceanu in the 96th minute of the match. The Cotofenescii FCM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hlipiceni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
