Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Silviu Crețu made the kick off which started today's match. If Silviu Crețu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vasile Bobariu during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 16 minutes into the game, one of Hlipiceni:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silviu Crețu in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Dersidan saved Hlipiceni from getting behind. After 24 played minutes Patas FC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Boștină. The crowd rose to their feet as Hlipiceni's Horea Gurgui slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sergiu Şumălan. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. If Iacob Țepeneag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silviu Crețu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dan Dersidan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silviu Crețu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Dersidan having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Albert Cozac had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergiu Şumălan. Patas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albert Cozac was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Urbano Montrelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Horea Gurgui dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sergiu Şumălan, 3-1. Patas FC's Sergiu Şumălan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Patas FC from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iacob Țepeneag made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Horea Gurgui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Şumălan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patas FC's Alex Bărcăuan got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Iacob Țepeneag left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hlipiceni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Sergiu Şumălan came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Hlipiceni's Albert Cozac. But to his dismay, Albert Cozac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. 65 minutes into the match, Hlipiceni's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Crețu came free, but Dan Dersidan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Țepeneag in the 67th minute of play forced Patas FC's goalkeeper Sergiu Şumălan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Iacob Țepeneag cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Sergiu Şumălan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horea Gurgui in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergiu Şumălan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urbano Montrelle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Jitaru in the 83rd minute of play forced Patas FC's goalkeeper Sergiu Şumălan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Horea Gurgui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Şumălan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Patas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Carp to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Patas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Țepeneag came free, but Sergiu Şumălan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hlipiceni had played much better football throughout.
