Dejesti AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Ignătescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tyrell Langston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Plenita FCM's zone, Ceyhan Uyaralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Roşulescu came out of the goal and Ceyhan Uyaralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Moțoc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Aron Roşulescu made a huge save. The supporters of Dejesti AC booed when Plenita FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyrell Langston didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Tyrell Langston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dejesti AC's Eric Matei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 23 played minutes Dejesti AC got a freekick which was hit by Horea Şimonca. In the 25th minute Tyrell Langston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 29 minutes on the clock, Valer Codru commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 30th match minute, Dejesti AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Codru to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Tyrell Langston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plenita FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Tyrell Langston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Matei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tyrell Langston sped through Dejesti AC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eric Matei. After 41 played minutes Plenita FCM got a freekick which was hit by Denis Trandafir. Eric Matei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrell Langston, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Denis Trandafir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Plenita FCM were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tyrell Langston was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Moțoc succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After having played for 59 minutes, Narcis Vişoianu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dejesti AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narcis Vişoianu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Dejesti AC's Eric Matei got control of the ball when Mugurel Sălcudeanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bogdan Daraban took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Matei. Eric Matei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Eric Matei made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Bogdan Daraban sent off a good shot on target. If Mugurel Sălcudeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Denis Trandafir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, Tyrell Langston recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eric Matei. Tyrell Langston showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 85 minutes into the match, Dejesti AC's goalkeeper Eric Matei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogdan Daraban. Tyrell Langston received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eric Matei came out and tried to block the shot, but Tyrell Langston slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 86th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Denis Trandafir threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dejesti AC's Ivan Ignătescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Denis Trandafir made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mugurel Sălcudeanu. When Denis Trandafir came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Plenita FCM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Trandafir couldn't finish the play. Plenita FCM's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
