Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Spinul CSM's Felix Dragalina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Felix Dragalina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spinul CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Dragalina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicu Dănciulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ghidut CSS's Eusebiu Sima got a free kick in the 16th minute. 22 minutes into the match, David Stoicescu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Spinul CSM's Horia Turcescu. Horia Turcescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Dragalina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Dănciulescu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ghidut CSS's Corneliu Agudin got a free kick in the 31st minute. Eusebiu Sima took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horia Turcescu. Horia Turcescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A hard shot 37 in the game by Felix Dragalina from a close distance when the talented Nicu Dănciulescu managed to make a qualified save. Ghidut CSS's players were relieved. 39 minutes into the game, Spinul CSM's Rareș Hulubei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Dănciulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Mădălin Jerca made the kick off in the second half. Felix Dragalina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Dănciulescu having to interfere. Eusebiu Sima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horia Turcescu having to interfere. In the 67th minute Felix Dragalina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Dănciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spinul CSM's Felix Dragalina got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Spinul CSM's Manole Pistol got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Mădălin Jerca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ghidut CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Mădălin Jerca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horia Turcescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horia Turcescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Jerca in the 78th minute of the match. Spinul CSM's Felix Dragalina got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mădălin Jerca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the game, Mădălin Jerca lined in a short shot 2-4 behind a frustrated Horia Turcescu. Ghidut CSS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
