Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 130) In the 4th match minute, Curtuiuseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Comarnescu to maneuver through the defense. Luca Niță made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Mannie in the 6th minute. The supporters of Botez booed when Curtuiuseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Comarnescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Mannie in the 19th minute of play forced Curtuiuseni's goalkeeper Luca Niță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Irinel Voinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Niță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curtuiuseni's Eduard Turcescu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 31 minutes, Celedonio Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Botez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Mannie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute Eduard Turcescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Mareș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabin Marghescu hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match, Nicolae Jianu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luca Niță was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Eduard Turcescu fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curtuiuseni's protests and gave Eduard Turcescu a yellow card for diving instead. Eduard Turcescu hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduard Turcescu to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Celedonio Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botez's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Mannie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luca Niță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Botez's Nicolae Jianu got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute Celedonio Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Niță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Curtuiuseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Berbec to maneuver through the defense. Curtuiuseni's Luca Niță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Bologan in the 82nd minute of play. Eduard Turcescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fabian Mareș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Curtuiuseni's zone, Paul Bologan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luca Niță came out of the goal and Paul Bologan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 played minutes Curtuiuseni got a freekick which was hit by Marin Ghișe. Sabin Marghescu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Luca Niță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Ursu in the 92nd minute of play. Luca Niță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Mannie in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Botez players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
