Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ştefan Manole took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Jojei AS's Valentin Zbagan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Valentin Zbagan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jojei AS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Valentin Zbagan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jojei AS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! After 10 minutes of play, PHOENIX BUCURESTI's Teddy Briat made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicu Firu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicu Firu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy Briat in the 15th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ştefan Manole's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicu Firu was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Teddy Briat sped through Jojei AS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicu Firu. After a rather tough play, Jojei AS's Mădălin Pacurar got a free kick in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Ştefan Manole had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicu Firu. Jojei AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ştefan Manole was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Dumitru Mutu hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Iosif Brumă acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anton Focșa. Adrian Josan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Brumă having to interfere. Nicu Firu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Manole, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Ştefan Manole ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicu Firu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Josan to strike the kick off in the second half. Teddy Briat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 minutes, Dumitru Mutu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PHOENIX BUCURESTI and the Jojei AS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jojei AS booed when PHOENIX BUCURESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Mutu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Focșa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Jojei AS's Nicu Firu got control of the ball when Teddy Briat tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Ştefan Manole recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicu Firu. Ştefan Manole showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. A collision led to Jojei AS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Mădălin Pacurar hit a great ball. In the 79th match minute, Jojei AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Josan to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Jojei AS's Nicu Firu got control of the ball when Teddy Briat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jojei AS's Nicu Firu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Manole in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of PHOENIX BUCURESTI booed when Jojei AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Răducanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avram Gordunescu has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 84th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. PHOENIX BUCURESTI's Avram Gordunescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicu Firu but with some difficulty. Teddy Briat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Nicu Firu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 87 in the game by Teddy Briat from a close distance when the talented Nicu Firu managed to make a qualified save. Jojei AS's players were relieved. Nicu Firu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Manole in the 94th minute of play.
