Paul Buhăescu was a little too slow when Dan Ielciu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 35th match minute, Dadestii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Ciomag to maneuver through the defense. Jojei AS's Anton Focșa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dadestii. In the 38th minute, Filip Constantinescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicu Firu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 43rd minute of the match Constantin Dragu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicu Firu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adrian Josan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Buhăescu having to interfere. Paul Buhăescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Josan in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dan Ielciu made a kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Filip Constantinescu from a close distance when the talented Nicu Firu managed to make a qualified save. Jojei AS's players were relieved. Filip Constantinescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicu Firu having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, Jojei AS's goalkeeper Nicu Firu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Constantinescu. In the 59th minute Leontin Chițan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Firu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Buhăescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Ielciu in the 62nd minute of play. Filip Constantinescu charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Constantinescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 66 minutes, Dan Ielciu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jojei AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Ielciu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filip Constantinescu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Nicu Firu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dadestii. Nicu Firu made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Filip Constantinescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Filip Constantinescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dan Ielciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Buhăescu having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Dadestii got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Boldișor. The supporters of Jojei AS booed when Dadestii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Iorda didn't get a good kick on the ball.
