The supporters of Nedelea CS booed when Jojei AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Pacurar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Corneliu Atanasiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nedelea CS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jojei AS the free kick. 8 minutes into the game, one of Nedelea CS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Anton Focșa walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Dan Ielciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Jojei AS's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Minteuan came free, but Nicu Firu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nedelea CS were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Jojei AS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Corneliu Atanasiu took the corner. After taking down the ball on Nedelea CS's corner Corneliu Atanasiu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicu Firu quite easily take care of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Jojei AS's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Arnăutu came free, but Nicu Firu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jojei AS's Nicu Firu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Jojei AS from getting a goal against them. Panait Arnăutu might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicu Firu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panait Arnăutu ran back to his position shaking his head. Martin Minteuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Nedelea CS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nedelea CS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
