Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Panait Arnăutu made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panait Arnăutu in the 6th minute of play forced Jojei AS's goalkeeper Nicu Firu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Minteuan struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Nicu Firu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nedelea CS. Panait Arnăutus short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Nicu Firu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dan Ielciu might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Șerban Gheție. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Ielciu ran back to his position shaking his head. Șerban Gheție showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Ielciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Dan Ielciu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Nedelea CS's Șerban Gheție. Șerban Gheție was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martin Minteuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicu Firu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Panait Arnăutu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nedelea CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panait Arnăutu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panait Arnăutu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Jojei AS's goalkeeper Nicu Firu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Minteuan. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jojei AS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Corneliu Atanasiu was slow to take the kick. During this time Nedelea CS's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Corneliu Atanasiu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jojei AS's Nicu Firu did a great save. After the first half Jojei AS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Ielciu to make the kick off. Martin Minteuan struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Nicu Firu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nedelea CS. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Martin Minteuan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nedelea CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Minteuan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicu Firu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Jojei AS booed when Nedelea CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Toader didn't get a good kick on the ball. Șerban Gheție was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anton Focșa. Panait Arnăutu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Barbăroșie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicu Firu. Jojei AS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nicu Firu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Arnăutu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicu Firu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Arnăutu in the 80th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Josan got free with Șerban Gheție in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Martin Minteuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Panait Arnăutu scored 2-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Firu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Despite being the better team, Nedelea CS failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
