FC Piriului's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olimpiu Maghiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Petru Cojocaru hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. FC Piriului's Laurențiu Abraham managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sergiu Găvan in the 16 minute of the game. 23 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Maghiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Adam Luncaniță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th play minute Cornel Cerghizan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ernest Teodoroiu. 1-2. 31 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Maghiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Adam Luncaniță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute Răzvan Giurăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Luncaniță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Piriului's zone, Răzvan Giurăscu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Luncaniță came out of the goal and Răzvan Giurăscu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Nicodim Cărtărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, F.C.Albinutza's Sorin Vornicescu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ernest Teodoroiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Cărtărescu in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Costin Ogică made a precise shot to the right of Adam Luncaniță. FC Piriului's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After 60 played minutes FC Piriului got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Bălan. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Adam Luncaniță successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gabriel Bălan kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes FC Piriului got a freekick which was hit by Dorin Chirilă. A sloppy throw-in by Horea Comăneci in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Piriului's Cristian Ponor. Gabriel Bălan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ernest Teodoroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Bălan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Teodoroiu having to interfere. Adam Luncaniță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Maghiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Adam Luncaniță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Maghiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Olimpiu Maghiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C.Albinutza's supporters rose to their feet, but Olimpiu Maghiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Luncaniță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, FC Piriului's Adam Luncaniță got control of the ball when Costin Ogică tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, F.C.Albinutza's Olimpiu Maghiar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F.C.Albinutza walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
