Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Iustinian Zoreanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Iustinian Zoreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolaas Mestdagh was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Bungeanu in the 13th minute of play forced Ploptisu CF's goalkeeper Eliodor Macovei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliodor Macovei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Şoimu in the 18th minute of the match. If Iulian Şoimu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisburn Distillery FC were furious when Daniel Coroian was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 35 minutes, Iulian Şoimu made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ploptisu CF's Eliodor Macovei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 38 in the game by Iulian Şoimu from a close distance when the talented Eliodor Macovei managed to make a qualified save. Ploptisu CF's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Lisburn Distillery FC's Iulian Şoimu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliodor Macovei. That made the score 3-2 after 44 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iulian Şoimu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Myhr in the 51st minute of play forced Ploptisu CF's goalkeeper Eliodor Macovei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 minutes, Iustinian Zoreanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ploptisu CF and the Lisburn Distillery FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Ploptisu CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustinian Zoreanu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ploptisu CF's zone, Iulian Şoimu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliodor Macovei came out of the goal and Iulian Şoimu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliodor Macovei came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Lisburn Distillery FC's Aurelian Urduban. But to his dismay, Aurelian Urduban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Aurelian Urduban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lisburn Distillery FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelian Urduban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliodor Macovei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ploptisu CF booed when Lisburn Distillery FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Urduban didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pavel Burtescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Iustinian Zoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas Mestdagh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gelu Agud kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Pavel Burtescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Iulian Şoimu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lisburn Distillery FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iulian Şoimu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iulian Şoimu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Macovei having to interfere. Oskar Myhr might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliodor Macovei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oskar Myhr ran back to his position shaking his head. Lisburn Distillery FC's Iulian Şoimu got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If David Albu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisburn Distillery FC's Gabriel Cismaș was substituted for Iulian Şoimu. 96 minutes into the match, Gabriel Cismaș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliodor Macovei. Ploptisu CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Cismaș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. When the referee ended the match the Lisburn Distillery FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
