After a rather tough play, FC RadeK's Anton Arghirescu got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 5th minute, Iustin Gârdan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Ploieșteanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Vintilă Eftimescu fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC RadeK's protests and gave Vintilă Eftimescu a yellow card for diving instead. If Iustin Gârdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC RadeK booed when Lapusesti SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Calboreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lapusesti SC's Gigi Bociort played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Isăceanu in the 16th minute of play. Rareș Calboreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Dinu Mușetescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Ploieșteanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinu Mușetescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Gigi Bociort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Isăceanu in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Lapusesti SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Iulian to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC RadeK defense, Iustin Gârdan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Ploieșteanu. The FC RadeK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Ploieșteanu should have stopped the shot. Gigi Bociort showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Eftimescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Lapusesti SC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Arghirescu came free, but Gigi Bociort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emanuel Isăceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rareș Calboreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinu Mușetescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC RadeK booed when Lapusesti SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustin Gârdan didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anton Arghirescu to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Cornel Braia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC RadeK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lapusesti SC the free kick. After 53 played minutes FC RadeK got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Braia. 56 minutes in the game, Gheorghe Banica fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gigi Bociort having to interfere. Dinu Mușetescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Iustin Gârdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iustin Gârdan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Felix Ploieșteanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lapusesti SC. In the 71st match minute, FC RadeK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Banica to maneuver through the defense. Rareș Calboreanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Ploieșteanu having to make a save. After having played for 78 minutes, Iustin Gârdan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lapusesti SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustin Gârdan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Ştefan Cocea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Ploieșteanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Felix Ploieșteanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinu Mușetescu went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ştefan Cocea in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Ploieșteanu saved FC RadeK from getting behind. 89 minutes into the game, Lapusesti SC's Dinu Mușetescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Ploieșteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Banica in the 93rd minute of play forced Lapusesti SC's goalkeeper Gigi Bociort to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustin Gârdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Ploieșteanu having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lapusesti SC fully deserved thier win.
