Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tudor Sârban got the match started through his kick off. Gelu Doloman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Trişcu in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Tudor Sârban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DRK's Manole Balint was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 10 minutes, Cosmin Popoacă made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. DRK's Manole Balint tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute Sandu Trişcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Doloman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Herescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gelu Doloman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Herescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, David Herescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gelu Doloman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Manole Balint managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Cirtea's Cosmin Popoacă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 34th minute David Herescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Doloman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Șerban Bucataru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cirtea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Șerban Bucataru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tudor Sârban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosmin Popoacă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Manole Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tudor Sârban, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 47 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Manole Balint was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when David Herescu made the kick off in the second half. Valer Dobrițoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Manole Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Sârban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Tudor Sârban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cirtea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. David Herescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Doloman having to interfere. Dorin Mangra kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Manole Balint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosmin Popoacă in the 74th minute of play. Cosmin Popoacă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to DRK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Emanuel Herea hit a great ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind DRK's goalkeeper Manole Balint, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cosmin Popoacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tudor Sârban came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Cirtea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Sârban couldn't finish the play. If Tudor Sârban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Todoran charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Todoran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cirtea were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of DRK for a fine match.
