Spectators: 7462 (Terracing: 5597, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Iclanzeiu's Daniel Târban started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Cufoaia FC booed when Iclanzeiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Braia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nae Ţurlău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Iacob Levința tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nae Ţurlău might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iacob Levința. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nae Ţurlău ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Iclanzeiu's goalkeeper Iacob Levința, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Iclanzeiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Braia to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Dacian Mîțu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iclanzeiu's Ionuț Mihălțan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 36 minutes in the game, fortunately Daniel Cotoi had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Iacob Levința came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Cufoaia FC's Nae Ţurlău. But to his dismay, Nae Ţurlău quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dacian Mîțu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 54th minute, Ionuț Mihălțan made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Cotoi. Cufoaia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Cazimir Onaca in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cufoaia FC's Răzvan Todoran. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Iclanzeiu! Iacob Levința went to the wrong direction when Nae Ţurlău was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Mircea Oprescu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 65th match minute, Iclanzeiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Mihălțan to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Nae Ţurlău notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Iclanzeiu's Iacob Levința. Iacob Levința was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Târban might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Cotoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Târban ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Târban in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Cotoi saved Cufoaia FC from getting behind. Daniel Cotoi came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Iclanzeiu's Daniel Târban. But to his dismay, Daniel Târban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Ionuț Mihălțan scored 3-2 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Cotoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
