Eric Nicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Ţurlău in the 32nd minute of play. Ferdinand Bădila struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Daniel Cotoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HaYhuY. 47 minutes into the game, Traian Turcan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cufoaia FC's Edgar Paulescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
