Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Radu Tobă made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the game, Emanuel Herea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DRK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cufoaia the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Emanuel Herea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radu Nae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Manole Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, David Herescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toader Răducu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With his leg Manole Balint managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Cufoaia's Radu Nae fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sandu Trişcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toader Răducu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The DRK fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when DRK's Sandu Trişcu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Toader Răducu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Trişcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Herescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cufoaia's Ionuț Chiose got a free kick in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Matei Verzea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cufoaia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DRK the free kick. A collision led to Cufoaia getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Matei Verzea hit a great ball. Ovidiu Hrib took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toader Răducu. Cufoaia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Radu Nae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Manole Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manole Balint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Tobă in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Radu Tobă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cufoaia's supporters rose to their feet, but Radu Tobă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manole Balint breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toader Răducu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Herescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 48 minutes of play, Cufoaia's Radu Nae made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manole Balint was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Herescu to make the kick off. Vali Vârnav was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Călin Melentie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Balint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, David Herescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Toader Răducu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cufoaia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when David Herescu scored to the left of an out of position Toader Răducu, making the score, 1-5. Sandu Trişcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Răducu having to interfere. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cufoaia's goalkeeper Toader Răducu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. DRK's Sandu Trişcu got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandu Trişcu struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Toader Răducu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DRK. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, David Herescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. DRK's supporters rose to their feet, but David Herescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toader Răducu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radu Tobă kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. DRK's Manole Balint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Nae in the 98th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cufoaia's Călin Melentie got a free kick in the 100th minute. 101 minutes into the match, Cufoaia's goalkeeper Toader Răducu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandu Trişcu. The DRK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
