Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nae Ţurlău got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Felix Buzescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 minutes, David Oprea made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cufoaia FC's Daniel Cotoi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the game, David Oprea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Daniel Cotoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cufoaia FC's Daniel Cotoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horea Harhoiu in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, one of Cufoaia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cufoaia FC. The referee gave Sindrila a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pavel Teaşcă, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cufoaia FC's Daniel Cotoi. 0-3. Cufoaia FC's attentive Edgar Paulescu managed to snatch the ball when Cătălin Sorin made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Daniel Cotoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Oprea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Cătălin Sorin in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cufoaia FC's Edgar Paulescu. Cufoaia FC's Edgar Paulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Vaida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nae Ţurlău went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After having played for 35 minutes, David Oprea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sindrila's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Oprea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Goiceanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sindrila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cufoaia FC the free kick. After 37 played minutes Sindrila got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Goiceanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Todoran in the 39th minute of play forced Sindrila's goalkeeper Dan Vaida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nae Ţurlău recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Ivan Macavei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sindrila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cufoaia FC the free kick. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horea Harhoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cufoaia FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Răzvan Todoran hit a great ball. Ivan Macavei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Daniel Cotoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Buzescu lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Sindrila. Pavel Teaşcă stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Cotoi. 1-4. Horea Harhoiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Cotoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Horea Harhoiu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 74th minute. Dan Vaida came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cufoaia FC's Mugur Boboc. But to his dismay, Mugur Boboc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Horea Harhoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Cotoi having to interfere. Horea Harhoiu struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Daniel Cotoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sindrila. When the match was over Sindrila could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cufoaia FC throughout the match.
