Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 6 played minutes HaYhuY got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Necula. 7 minutes into the match, Cirtea's Călin Stamate broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Eric Nicea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tudor Sârban's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of HaYhuY:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cirtea:s goal. When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, Cirtea's Călin Stamate got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eric Nicea. In the 17th minute, Cirtea's Cosmin Popoacă ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eric Nicea. Eric Nicea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 21st minute, Cirtea's Manuel Todoran seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Manuel Todoran the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cirtea protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manuel Todoran had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Claudiu Mihăilescu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The supporters of HaYhuY booed when Cirtea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Bucataru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Cosmin Popoacă fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind HaYhuY's goalkeeper Eric Nicea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosmin Popoacă made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Șerban Bucataru during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Cirtea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Bucataru to maneuver through the defense. Francisc Filipașcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gelu Doloman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Filipașcu in the 60th minute of play. Eric Nicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Popoacă, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantin Necula during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th match minute, HaYhuY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Necula to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Popoacă in the 76th minute of play forced HaYhuY's goalkeeper Eric Nicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Valer Dobrițoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the HaYhuY defense, Cosmin Popoacă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Nicea. The HaYhuY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Nicea should have stopped the shot. When Cirtea's Cosmin Popoacă in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HaYhuY's goalie prevented a goal. Alexandru Papadima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Eric Nicea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosmin Popoacă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Șerban Bucataru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cirtea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Șerban Bucataru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valer Dobrițoiu struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Eric Nicea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cirtea. Cirtea walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
