Daniel Chivulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cătălin Gorun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Chivulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. After 6 played minutes Eduard Boșneag rounded Satucul's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The supporters of FC Wolverine-Stiinta- booed when Satucul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviu Eftimescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Daniel Chivulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wolverine-Stiinta-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Chivulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Gorun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 20 minutes, Eduard Boșneag managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wolverine-Stiinta-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduard Boșneag was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Boșneag in the 27th minute of play forced Satucul's goalkeeper Cătălin Gorun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Chivulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes, Valeriu Ciolac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Satucul and the FC Wolverine-Stiinta- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for FC Wolverine-Stiinta-. Vintilă Barbu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cătălin Gorun. 2-0. Eduard Boșneag's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Gorun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Vasile Daria came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Satucul's Mihnea Gorgan. But to his dismay, Mihnea Gorgan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduard Boșneag to make the kick off. Mihnea Gorgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iurie Răuțu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Daria having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, FC Wolverine-Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Axinte to maneuver through the defense. FC Wolverine-Stiinta-'s Vasile Daria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save FC Wolverine-Stiinta- from getting a goal against them. Iurie Răuțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Chivulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iurie Răuțu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Satucul's Cătălin Gorun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Boșneag in the 88th minute of play. If Daniel Chivulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
