With his leg Costică Dancu managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Dagata's Ion Cioacă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leontin Unchiaşu during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Oaia Becaliana booed when Dagata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Unchiaşu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Vuşcan got free with Costică Dancu in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gică Tufescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Stroescu having to interfere. Codrin Stroescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidiu Feteanu's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Dagata defense, Martin Abrudan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codrin Stroescu. The Dagata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codrin Stroescu should have stopped the shot. Ion Cioacă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Costică Dancu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Vuşcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ovidiu Feteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as FC Oaia Becaliana's Ovidiu Feteanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Codrin Stroescu. That made the score 1-4 after 90 minutes of play. Dagata's Codrin Stroescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Abrudan in the 93rd minute of play. After 96 minutes, Victor Vuşcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dagata and the FC Oaia Becaliana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dagata's Victor Vuşcan got a free kick in the 96th minute. FC Oaia Becaliana's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
