Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihnea Praporgescu to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Sandu Gabor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vasile Daria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Lapus getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Codrin Liciu hit a great ball. If Mihnea Praporgescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Mihnea Praporgescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vasile Daria. The goal made the score 1-2. Lapus's Marcel Corcoveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Boșneag in the 71st minute of play. The referee showed Costică Arosculesei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Wolverine-Stiinta- getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Costică Arosculesei hit a great ball. Lapus played a much better game than FC Wolverine-Stiinta- and deserved their victory. The FC Wolverine-Stiinta- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
