Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Irinel Codrescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Ştefan Tonegaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horea Dumitru. Cirligi CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ştefan Tonegaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Petrică Ungheanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alex Zbârciog. Petrică Ungheanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Ştefan Tonegaru struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Horea Dumitru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC CARPATZI. In the 13th minute of the match, Iulian Corbeanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alex Zbârciog was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 16th minute, Ştefan Tonegaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC CARPATZI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Cirligi CF's Sebastian Meleșcanu got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 21 minutes, Dragoş Ficsinescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 31st minute of the match, Iulian Corbeanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alex Zbârciog was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to AC CARPATZI getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dragoş Ficsinescu hit a great ball. Iulian Corbeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alex Zbârciog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Cirligi CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidiu Buzincu to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Iulian Corbeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iulian Corbeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half AC CARPATZI were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petrică Ungheanu was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Victor Pârlog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Zbârciog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Cirligi CF got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Morar. Irinel Codrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Dumitru having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Cirligi CF got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Rânceanu. In the 68th minute, Iulian Corbeanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cirligi CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC CARPATZI's goalkeeper Alex Zbârciog, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Cirligi CF's Petrică Ungheanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Zbârciog narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Petrică Ungheanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Petrică Ungheanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Zbârciog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Corbeanu in the 88th minute of the match. Iulian Corbeanu took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Zbârciog. Alex Zbârciog dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Alex Zbârciog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Corbeanu in the 94th minute of play. Irinel Codrescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Horea Dumitru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Cirligi CF were the better team. Cirligi CF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
