In the 5th match minute, Stignita AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Macovescu to maneuver through the defense. Gelu Horațiu struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Sebastian Micu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Velos. Iordache Lixandru was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stignita AC! In the 10th minute there was a penalty for FC Velos. Aristide Drâmba stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sebastian Micu. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Frățilă in the 18th minute of play forced Stignita AC's goalkeeper Sebastian Micu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Micu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Horațiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes, Lucian Răchitan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Velos and the Stignita AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucian Răchitan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Ortacu in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Velos's goalkeeper Teodor Focșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelian Ortacu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Aurelian Ortacu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stignita AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelian Ortacu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodor Focșa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Stignita AC's Aurelian Ortacu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Aurelian Ortacu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Teodor Focșa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Sebastian Micu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Horațiu in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Gelu Horațiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Micu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Sebastian Micu managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when FC Velos's Gelu Horațiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sever Lupeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, FC Velos's Gelu Horațiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Micu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When FC Velos's Gelu Horațiu in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
