Petrică Ungheanu scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciprian Zdrenghea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicu Abraham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Dumitru having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Pârlog in the 14th minute of play forced Hummel's goalkeeper Ciprian Zdrenghea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hummel's Ciprian Zdrenghea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrică Ungheanu in the 22nd minute of play. Emilian Simionaş kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Petrică Ungheanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cirligi CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Petrică Ungheanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Zdrenghea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iulian Corbeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ciprian Zdrenghea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Ungheanu in the 32nd minute of play forced Hummel's goalkeeper Ciprian Zdrenghea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Emilian Simionaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iulian Corbeanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciprian Zdrenghea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iulian Corbeanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciprian Zdrenghea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Ungheanu in the 35th minute of play. A hard shot 36 in the game by Nicu Abraham from a close distance when the talented Horea Dumitru managed to make a qualified save. Cirligi CF's players were relieved. After 37 minutes, Nicu Mitu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cirligi CF and the Hummel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Nicu Mitu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hummel's Iustin Tudoran shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Horea Dumitru but with some difficulty. Cirligi CF's Petrică Ungheanu got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hummel's Ciprian Zdrenghea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrică Ungheanu in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute Gică Suciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Dumitru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Horea Dumitru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicu Abraham, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Petrică Ungheanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciprian Zdrenghea. The goal made the score 0-2. Iulian Corbeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ciprian Zdrenghea made a huge save. Petrică Ungheanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciprian Zdrenghea came out and tried to block the shot, but Petrică Ungheanu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 62nd minute. Vali Huidu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Hummel's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Pârlog came free, but Ciprian Zdrenghea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Hummel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilian Simionaş to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Cirligi CF's Petrică Ungheanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Cirligi CF's Ovidiu Buzincu got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute Petrică Ungheanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Zdrenghea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Hummel's Ciprian Zdrenghea got control of the ball when Iulian Corbeanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciprian Zdrenghea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Ungheanu in the 90th minute of play. Ciprian Zdrenghea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Mitu in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Cirligi CF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hummel.
