Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5620, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Ciprian Zdrenghea came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Caramidaru's Octav Mârzac. But to his dismay, Octav Mârzac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ciprian Zdrenghea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cezar Dridu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciprian Zdrenghea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Cezar Dridu in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 17th minute, Gică Suciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Octav Mârzac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Zdrenghea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Zdrenghea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezar Dridu in the 20th minute of the match. Ciprian Zdrenghea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Dridu in the 27th minute of play forced Hummel's goalkeeper Ciprian Zdrenghea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciprian Zdrenghea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octav Mârzac's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Hummel's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Mârzac came free, but Ciprian Zdrenghea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hummel's Dacian Stătescu got a free kick in the 46th minute. Gigel Robu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciprian Zdrenghea. Hummel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicu Abraham to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciprian Zdrenghea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezar Dridu in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Caramidaru's Cezar Dridu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 62ndth minute of the game Octav Mârzac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hummel's Ciprian Zdrenghea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Hummel's goalkeeper Ciprian Zdrenghea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezar Dridu. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Costică Avarvarei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caramidaru's supporters rose to their feet, but Costică Avarvarei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Zdrenghea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cezar Dridu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cezar Dridu got free with Ciprian Zdrenghea in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emilian Simionaş's late challenge caught a Caramidaru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilian Simionaş helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Hummel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilian Simionaş to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Cezar Dridu made a precise shot to the right of Ciprian Zdrenghea. Hummel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Ciprian Zdrenghea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Mârzac in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hummel's zone, Octav Mârzac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciprian Zdrenghea came out of the goal and Octav Mârzac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Caramidaru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hummel.
