Spectators: 6746 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Poroina defense, Iulian Corbeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Stârcea. The Poroina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Stârcea should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Poroina's Constantin Curta got a free kick in the 10th minute. Poroina's Dumitru Sântimbrean got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cirligi CF's zone, Mircea Rainea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horea Dumitru came out of the goal and Mircea Rainea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Stârcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrică Ungheanu in the 24th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Iulian Corbeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mircea Rainea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Petrică Ungheanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cirligi CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petrică Ungheanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iulian Corbeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fabian Stârcea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horea Dumitru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Rainea in the 57th minute of the match. Petrică Ungheanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iulian Corbeanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Stârcea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iulian Corbeanu ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes in the game, Petrică Ungheanu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabian Stârcea having to interfere. Petrică Ungheanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Fabian Stârcea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Ungheanu in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Stârcea saved Poroina from getting behind. Iulian Corbeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dumitru Sântimbrean in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horea Dumitru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Victor Pârlog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cirligi CF's Horea Dumitru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Rainea in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Cirligi CF getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Victor Pârlog hit a great ball. Iulian Corbeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Fabian Stârcea made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Mircea Rainea notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cirligi CF's Horea Dumitru. Horea Dumitru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Horea Dumitru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Rainea in the 95th minute of play. Cirligi CF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
