Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mircea Rainea made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, AC CARPATZI's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Petrea came free, but Alex Zbârciog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigel Petrea kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match AC CARPATZI got a corner. Poroina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Buceceanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led AC CARPATZI's Fabian Buceceanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabian Stârcea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Poroina getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Corneliu Stoicea hit a great ball. AC CARPATZI's Ştefan Tonegaru got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Irinel Codrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Irinel Codrescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Stârcea was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Ştefan Tonegaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fabian Stârcea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olimpiu Arseanu's late challenge caught a Poroina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olimpiu Arseanu helped the player get up and apologised. Olimpiu Arseanu kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Poroina's Dumitru Sântimbrean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Zbârciog made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Dumitru Sântimbrean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Irinel Codrescu was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Poroina's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Codrescu came free, but Fabian Stârcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ştefan Tonegaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Irinel Codrescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabian Stârcea. That made the score 2-1 in the 61 minute of play. Fabian Stârcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irinel Codrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Alex Zbârciog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mircea Rainea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, Poroina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Petrea to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Poroina's zone, Ştefan Tonegaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Stârcea came out of the goal and Ştefan Tonegaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Irinel Codrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irinel Codrescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Stârcea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Irinel Codrescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Gigel Petrea kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Dumitru Sântimbrean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Alex Zbârciog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Corneliu Stoicea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poroina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC CARPATZI the free kick. After a rather tough play, Poroina's Corneliu Stoicea got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Ştefan Tonegaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the AC CARPATZI players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Poroina.
