Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mircea Rainea took the kick off in the first half of the match. The long shot by Gabriel Stoicănescu in the 4th minute really tested Fabian Stârcea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Laurențiu Pivniceru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stignita AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurențiu Pivniceru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 played minutes Poroina got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Mîțu. Laurențiu Pivniceru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Laurențiu Pivniceru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21st play minutes Laurențiu Pivniceru shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Fabian Stârcea and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 27th minute, Mircea Rainea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poroina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 34th minute, Adrian Bârza had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 34 minutes, Laurențiu Pivniceru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stignita AC and the Poroina players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sever Barbonța kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Eric Macovescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fabian Stârcea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavril Balint hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laurențiu Pivniceru to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Pivniceru in the 52nd minute of play forced Poroina's goalkeeper Fabian Stârcea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Corneliu Stoicea fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poroina's protests and gave Corneliu Stoicea a yellow card for diving instead. When Laurențiu Pivniceru came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Stignita AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurențiu Pivniceru couldn't finish the play. Stignita AC's Eric Macovescu got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The nice shot from Dumitru Sântimbrean in the 65thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Sebastian Micu had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Iordache Lixandru charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iordache Lixandru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iordache Lixandru kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Poroina getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gavril Balint hit a great ball. Dumitru Sântimbrean struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Sebastian Micu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poroina. In the 76th minute Dumitru Sântimbrean suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Ferdinand Creteanu's late challenge caught a Poroina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinand Creteanu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Poroina booed when Stignita AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Creteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurențiu Pivniceru hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Aurelian Ortacu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fabian Stârcea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aurelian Ortacu scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Stârcea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sever Lupeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Stârcea having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Poroina's zone, Eric Macovescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Stârcea came out of the goal and Eric Macovescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stignita AC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
