Cristinel Zgabei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Donose in the 15th minute of the match. Octav Donose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octav Donose in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristinel Zgabei saved Glimbocelu from getting behind. If Felix Lăzărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Alexandru Lupoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octav Donose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Virgil Trăilă in the 44th minute really tested Matei Zburliş's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Lăzărescu was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Gusu's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Lăzărescu came free, but Matei Zburliş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Grămescu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match.
