Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Petru Ţugui started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Viorel Dragalina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marian Miclescu came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Glimbocelu's Iulian Şoltuz. But to his dismay, Iulian Şoltuz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viorel Dragalina in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristinel Zgabei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Glimbocelu's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Ţugui came free, but Cristinel Zgabei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Iulian Şoltuz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glimbocelu's supporters rose to their feet, but Iulian Şoltuz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Miclescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petru Ţugui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Zgabei having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

If Felix Lăzărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marian Miclescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mihail Drumeș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Micsunesti getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Viorel Dragalina hit a great ball. Iacob Vulpescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cristinel Zgabei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristinel Zgabei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Drumeș, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 82 minutes into the game, Cornel Gheorghiță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glimbocelu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Micsunesti the free kick. Cornel Gheorghiță kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Iacob Vulpescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petru Ţugui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Petru Ţugui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Lăzărescu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Micsunesti lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
