Horaţiu Daimacă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Miclea in the 75th minute of the match. When Corneliu Tremurici fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ripensia Timișoara's protests and gave Corneliu Tremurici a yellow card for diving instead.
