Tudor Tomescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Joita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 18 minutes, Cristian Grecescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netotul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Grecescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Budiasca FC's Manuel Deleanu got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Joita in the 24th minute of play forced Netotul's goalkeeper Tudor Tomescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Andrei Joita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netotul's Tudor Tomescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Gelu Vătafu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Budiasca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gelu Vătafu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tudor Tomescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pavel Lupeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Dan Horodincă made a huge save. In the 30th match minute, Budiasca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelian Roşu to maneuver through the defense. Budiasca FC's Dan Horodincă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Budiasca FC from getting a goal against them. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
