After 30 minutes, Leontin Pietreanu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gusu's Matei Zburliş tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Leontin Pietreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matei Zburliş was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octav Donose made a kick off. In the 54th minute Nichifor Păuceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcis Dragoș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
