Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrei Joita started the match with the kick off. Dan Horodincă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Stănoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Vasiliu in the 4th minute of play forced Budiasca FC's goalkeeper Dan Horodincă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Andrei Joita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valer Răduț. Andrei Joita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 13th minute Nicolae Vasiliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Horodincă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viorel Stănoiu in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Horodincă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolae Vasiliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Dan Horodincă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stelian Cosoroabă hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Viorel Stănoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Horodincă having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Nicolae Vasiliu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petelei AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolae Vasiliu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Horodincă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dan Horodincă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Stănoiu in the 37th minute of the match. When Manuel Deleanu fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After having played for 43 minutes, Nicolae Vasiliu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Petelei AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolae Vasiliu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After some careless play in the Petelei AFC defense, Andrei Joita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valer Răduț. The Petelei AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valer Răduț should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Joita in the 68th minute of play forced Petelei AFC's goalkeeper Valer Răduț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, one of Budiasca FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Valentin Bărnuțiu fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Petelei AFC's protests and gave Valentin Bărnuțiu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Petelei AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Bărnuțiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, one of Budiasca FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Budiasca FC. That made the score 2-3 in the 85 minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Costică Manolache was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Budiasca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petelei AFC the free kick. 92 minutes into the game, one of Budiasca FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rareș Taşcu placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Nicolae Vasiliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Horodincă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. In the 102nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Petelei AFC's goalkeeper Valer Răduț, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Petelei AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
