Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Octav Mereacre took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Aurel Panait hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3 minutes into the match, Funduri's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Busuioceanu came free, but Ernest Drâmbă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octav Mereacre got in the 5th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Lucian Plopeanu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Lucian Plopeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Mereacre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes benico2014 got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Oniga. Victor Lăceanu's late challenge caught a Funduri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Lăceanu helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of benico2014:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Funduri:s goal. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Funduri. Sever Purcărete stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lucian Plopeanu. 1-0. Victor Lăceanu was shown his second yellow card after 26 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, benico2014's Victor Lăceanu got a free kick in the 27th minute. Octav Mereacre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dinu Encuțescu came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Funduri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinu Encuțescu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to benico2014 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Octavian Oniga hit a great ball. Dinu Encuțescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Lucian Plopeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dinu Encuțescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucian Plopeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Mereacre in the 43rd minute of the match. Funduri's Dinu Encuțescu got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucian Plopeanu went to the wrong direction when Sever Purcărete was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costică Petruț during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Funduri booed when benico2014 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Petruț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinu Encuțescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Lucian Plopeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 54 minutes, Dinu Encuțescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Funduri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinu Encuțescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marian Popovici's late challenge caught a Funduri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Popovici helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Funduri a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sever Purcărete, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of benico2014's Lucian Plopeanu. 2-0. Ernest Drâmbă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marian Purje in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Marian Purje got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Funduri's Octav Mereacre in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye benico2014's goalie prevented a goal. benico2014's Lucian Plopeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Encuțescu in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Octav Mereacre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucian Plopeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Encuțescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Funduri's Dinu Encuțescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucian Plopeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Octav Mereacre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinu Encuțescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucian Plopeanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinu Encuțescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucian Plopeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Encuțescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Funduri's Octav Mereacre got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, benico2014 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Podgoreanu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octav Mereacre in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucian Plopeanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Octav Mereacre struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Lucian Plopeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Funduri. A collision led to benico2014 getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Mugur Podgoreanu hit a great ball. Octav Mereacre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinu Encuțescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
