Dragoş Vişoianu came out of the goal and Cătălin Giurcă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Corneliu Vădan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stiubeiu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corneliu Vădan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Codruț Purcaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 温荣建 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Leahu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd match minute, FC Ripensia Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Ailincai to maneuver through the defense. If Narcis Mitrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narcis Mitrea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but 温荣建 made a huge save. After having played for 31 minutes, Cătălin Giurcă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petre Leahu was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, FC Ripensia Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Negru to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute of the match Costin Halipa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 温荣建 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Narcis Mitrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. 温荣建 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 温荣建 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Leahu, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Corneliu Vădan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Stiubeiu SC's Narcis Mitrea got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Narcis Mitrea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Leahu in the 80th minute of play forced FC Ripensia Timisoara's goalkeeper 温荣建 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ripensia Timisoara's goalkeeper 温荣建, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Ripensia Timisoara's Codruț Purcaru got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cătălin Giurcă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 温荣建 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Leahu in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Narcis Mitrea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stiubeiu SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ripensia Timisoara the free kick. Narcis Mitrea kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
