Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mihail Tufescu started the match with the kick off. Dinu Encuțescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cristinel Alecu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristinel Alecu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Octav Mereacre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. With a little luck, Oituz Tg Ocna's Cristinel Alecu got control of the ball when Dinu Encuțescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 20 minutes, Radu Aristide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oituz Tg Ocna and the Funduri players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Oituz Tg Ocna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Aristide to maneuver through the defense. Cristinel Alecu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinu Encuțescu in the 22nd minute. When Dinu Encuțescu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cristinel Alecu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Funduri's Dinu Encuțescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristinel Alecu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Oituz Tg Ocna's zone, Aurel Panait stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristinel Alecu came out of the goal and Aurel Panait tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dinu Encuțescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Alecu having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Funduri fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octav Mereacre to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Aurel Panait got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gigi Tufescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Aurel Panait shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Alecu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aurel Panait had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octav Mereacre's late challenge caught a Oituz Tg Ocna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octav Mereacre helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Funduri's Octav Mereacre got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Aurel Panait might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristinel Alecu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurel Panait ran back to his position shaking his head. Gigi Tufescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Funduri's Horaţiu Gheondea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristinel Alecu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aurel Panait sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horaţiu Gheondea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Alecu having to interfere. Aurel Panait recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Octav Mereacre notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Oituz Tg Ocna's Cristinel Alecu. Cristinel Alecu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 93 minutes, Octav Mereacre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Funduri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Mereacre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Octav Mereacre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Funduri fully deserved thier win.
