FC Ripensia Timisoara's 温荣建 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ripensia Timisoara from getting a goal against them. Corneliu Apăvăloaie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Codruț Purcaru went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Lelescu in the 49th minute of play forced FC Ripensia Timisoara's goalkeeper 温荣建 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Corneliu Apăvăloaie made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Codruț Purcaru sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Cojasca Ceptura's Mihăiţă Boboc got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ionuț Zub charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionuț Zub the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, FC Cojasca Ceptura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Zub to maneuver through the defense.
