In the 46th minute, Parauseni SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Narcis Mitrea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paul Stoleru to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Stiubeiu SC's Costel Berceanu got a free kick in the 61st minute. With his leg Dragoş Vişoianu managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Parauseni SC's Codrin Iureș fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leontin Mircescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Leahu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Petre Leahu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stiubeiu SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
