Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Octav Mereacre kicked off to start the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurel Panait hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Aurel Panait's late challenge caught a FC Cojasca Ceptura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The tension between the Funduri and the FC Cojasca Ceptura players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Cojasca Ceptura's goalkeeper Corneliu Apăvăloaie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Corneliu Apăvăloaie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Encuțescu in the 72nd minute of play. Dinu Encuțescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Apăvăloaie having to interfere. Mihăiţă Boboc who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Ernest Drâmbă when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mihăiţă Boboc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Drâmbă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. If Dinu Encuțescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
