Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Constantin Paraschiv started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7thth minute of the game Constantin Paraschiv who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Biltaci CSM's Marcel Bărboianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Iulian Hârciog came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Biltaci CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Hârciog couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mag's goalkeeper Octavian Davidescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Mag booed when Biltaci CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Turcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Octav Cozac fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 16th minute, Mircea Joja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Bărboianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Paraschiv in the 17th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Biltaci CSM got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Turcan. After having played for 18 minutes, Octav Cozac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Cozac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Biltaci CSM booed when Mag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicu Ţiţeica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Paraschiv's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Bărboianu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Constantin Paraschiv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iulian Hârciog blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavian Davidescu having to make a save. Octavian Davidescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Hârciog in the 40th minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Constantin Paraschiv who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Biltaci CSM's Marcel Bărboianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Constantin Paraschiv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marcel Bărboianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Iulian Hârciog made the kick off in the second half. Mag's Octavian Davidescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Hârciog in the 52nd minute of play. Constantin Paraschiv's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Bărboianu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. When Iulian Hârciog came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Biltaci CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Hârciog couldn't finish the play. Marcel Bărboianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Paraschiv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Iulian Hârciog managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biltaci CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Iulian Hârciog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavian Davidescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Biltaci CSM's zone, Octav Cozac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Bărboianu came out of the goal and Octav Cozac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucian Talianu charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucian Talianu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Biltaci CSM booed when Mag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Talianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Iulian Hârciog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Mircea Joja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Paraschiv in the 80th minute of play forced Biltaci CSM's goalkeeper Marcel Bărboianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Bărboianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Paraschiv, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Mag's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Hârciog came free, but Octavian Davidescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tudor Darabonț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mag's Octav Cozac in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Biltaci CSM's goalie prevented a goal. Biltaci CSM's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
