Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pavel Ciuvică started the match with the kick off. Paul Pătrășconiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Teişanu having to interfere. Ernest Ciordaș blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorin Mudura having to make a save. In the 13th minute, Valentin Ştefoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Black Sea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Pătrășconiu came free, but Dorin Teişanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Black Sea FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Laurențiu Zmărăndescu hit a great ball. Paul Pătrășconiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorin Teişanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Pătrășconiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Ştefoi during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Girdoaia booed when Black Sea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Ştefoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorin Teişanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Pătrășconiu in the 32nd minute of the match. Dumitru Honciu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Dorin Teişanu made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, FC Girdoaia's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Ştefoi came free, but Dorin Mudura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Valentin Ştefoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Sea FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Paul Pătrășconiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dorin Teişanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, FC Girdoaia's Dumitru Honciu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paul Pătrășconiu to make the kick off. When Black Sea FC's Pavel Ciuvică in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Girdoaia's goalie prevented a goal. Paul Pătrășconiu struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Dorin Teişanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Girdoaia. Dorin Teişanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Honciu in the 55th minute of the match. Eric Todericiu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes in the game Lucian Mureșan got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Black Sea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Pătrășconiu came free, but Dorin Teişanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Dumitru Honciu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Girdoaia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dumitru Honciu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Black Sea FC's Dorin Teişanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Pătrășconiu in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Ernest Ciordaș suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 71 minutes, Vlad Ciupe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Girdoaia and the Black Sea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vlad Ciupe hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The long shot by Lucian Mureșan in the 72nd minute really tested Dorin Mudura's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Valentin Ştefoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Sea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Ştefoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorin Mudura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Pătrășconiu in the 79th minute of play forced Black Sea FC's goalkeeper Dorin Teişanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Black Sea FC's Denis Gane got a free kick in the 79th minute. Dorin Teişanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Pătrășconiu in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of FC Girdoaia booed when Black Sea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Zmărăndescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlad Ciupe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Black Sea FC's Dorin Teişanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nechifor Gorgan in the 93rd minute of play. FC Girdoaia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
