Manuel Filipașcu came out of the goal and Marcu Mihuț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Valentin Şuţu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Filipașcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Mihuț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inter-SPORT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valeriu Manolescu in the 35th minute. Inter-SPORT's Valeriu Manolescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manuel Filipașcu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Giroc All StarS's Augustin Barna pulled a muscle in his back after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Valeriu Manolescu's late challenge caught a Giroc All StarS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valeriu Manolescu helped the player get up and apologised. Valeriu Manolescu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. George Boerescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Mocanu in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugen Măgurean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Giroc All StarS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Inter-SPORT:s goal. The referee gave Inter-SPORT a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valeriu Manolescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Giroc All StarS's Manuel Filipașcu. 1-0. After having played for 65 minutes, Mădălin Cămărășescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter-SPORT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mădălin Cămărășescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentin Şuţu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but George Boerescu made a huge save. In the 72nd minute Marcu Mihuț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Filipașcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Giroc All StarS's Edgar Mateianu got a free kick in the 80th minute. Manuel Filipașcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Mihuț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Costel Isaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Filipașcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Filipașcu came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Inter-SPORT's Mădălin Cămărășescu. But to his dismay, Mădălin Cămărășescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Giroc All StarS's Manuel Filipașcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Mihuț in the 95th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Inter-SPORT's Costel Isaia made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Filipașcu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inter-SPORT's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
