The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dragoiasa's Costin Găvănescu got a free kick in the 31st minute. George Boerescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavril Ştef in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Costel Isaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Baldovin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gigi Bologa fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter-SPORT's protests and gave Gigi Bologa a yellow card for diving instead. Gigi Bologa hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Bojin in the 46th minute of play forced Inter-SPORT's goalkeeper George Boerescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavril Ştef made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Gavril Ştef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihail Găină, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 61st match minute, Dragoiasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Găvănescu to maneuver through the defense. George Boerescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Bojin in the 65th minute of play. Narcis Bojin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. George Boerescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, one of Inter-SPORT:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inter-SPORT. The referee gave Dragoiasa a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mihail Găină, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Inter-SPORT's George Boerescu. 1-0. Narcis Bojin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavril Ştef's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Boerescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Narcis Bojin took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Boerescu. George Boerescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Gavril Ştef's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Boerescu was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Narcis Bojin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gavril Ştef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragoiasa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
